My Story

There are currently 3.5 million people living with cancer in the UK, and this number is rising, with someone receiving a diagnosis every 75 seconds.

Cancer affects far more than the person diagnosed. It impacts families, friends and colleagues too. As a team, we've seen first-hand the difference Macmillan makes and understand just how important the support, guidance and reassurance they provide can be, not only for those living with cancer, but for the people around them as well.

What many people don't realise is that 98% of Macmillan's work is funded by voluntary donations. That's why our team is fundraising for Macmillan. It may seem like a small gesture, but every donation helps them continue providing vital support to people living with cancer and their loved ones.

What your donation could help fund:

£27 could help Macmillan run its Online Community for an hour, providing support to around 56 people during that time.

£161 could provide emotional support to someone living with cancer for around eight weeks.

£294 could fund a Macmillan nurse for a day, helping people and their families receive essential medical and emotional support.

Any donation, no matter the size, is hugely appreciated. Thank you for helping us support a cause that means a great deal to our team.
