At HUT on the Green we believe in the power of people coming together – whether that’s to make, learn, share, or simply enjoy a good cup of tea. Hosting a Coffee Morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support feels like a natural extension of what we do here: building community, supporting one another, and making space for conversations that matter.
Macmillan is 98% funded by voluntary donations, which means every slice of cake, every cup of coffee, and every generous donation really does make a difference. Their work ensures that people living with cancer – and the families and friends who stand beside them – get the practical, financial and emotional support they need, whenever and wherever they need it.
Right now, 3.5 million people in the UK are living with cancer. More people are being diagnosed than ever before, but more people are also surviving – and that’s why support matters more than ever. By raising funds together, we can help Macmillan continue to be there for people through their nurses, support line, advisers, online communities and so much more.
