My Story

Charters Aldershot are hosting a Coffee Morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. Cancer affects so many of us, whether directly or through someone we know, As a business we have experienced the loss of a cherished long serving colleague and it has reminded us of all how important support, compassion and community can be during difficult times.
By taking part in Macmillan Coffee Morning, we hope to honour their memory while raising vital funds for a charity that helps thousands of people and families every day. Macmillan is 98% funded by voluntary donations and with your help they can deliver the vital support people living with cancer need – whoever and wherever they are. There are currently more than 3.5 million people living with cancer in the UK and this number is rising, with someone diagnosed every 75 seconds. But Macmillan is doing whatever it to takes to ensure that everyone gets the best care available. They work with partners to provide services for people living with cancer at every stage of their cancer experience, including the Macmillan Support Line, award-winning cancer booklets, their Online Community, and Macmillan professionals. Thank you for your kind donation. It really will make a difference! Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast, and secure. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to Macmillan Cancer Support.
