My Story
The James Ramsay team is proud to be coming together to support Macmillan Cancer Support as part of the Macmillan Coffee Morning fundraising campaign.
Cancer is a cause that is close to our hearts. Like so many people, our team includes colleagues, friends and family members whose lives have been affected by cancer. We know the pain, sadness and uncertainty that this disease can bring, which is why we’re determined to do our part to raise as much as possible for a charity that provides such vital support to people and families when they need it most.
Macmillan is there to support people living with cancer at every stage of their experience, providing practical, emotional and financial support, as well as access to services and specialist professionals. With more than 3.5 million people currently living with cancer in the UK, and that number continuing to rise, the support provided by Macmillan has never been more important. As a charity that is 98% funded by voluntary donations, every contribution helps Macmillan continue to be there for people affected by cancer, wherever and whenever they need support.
As well as hosting our Coffee Morning, we’ll be taking on a Watt Bike Challenge, with the goal of cycling – virtually – from our Glasgow branch to our Manchester branch and back again. That’s 422 miles! 🚴
Whether we’re baking, cycling, donating or cheering each other on, we’re all getting involved with one shared goal: to raise as much money as we can for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Every donation, no matter the size, will help Macmillan continue providing vital support to people living with cancer and those closest to them.
Thanks for supporting our campaign and helping us raise money for a cause that means so much to so many people.
Now let’s get cycling, baking and fundraising as much as we can for Macmillan. 💚
Always dependable. Always there.
