My Story

I am hosting an event in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. Macmillan is 98% funded by voluntary donations and with your help they can deliver the vital support people living with cancer need – whoever and wherever they are.
Rose Chapters' Book Club are hosting a Macmillan bookish Craft Evening in honour of our inspiring and gorgeous bookworm friend Katie! Katie has been through her own cancer journey and has shown unimaginable strength, courage, and grace. She has been awesome and raised lots of awareness within book club and on her socials & has given amazing information on how to check your breasts!
We love you very much Katie!

Now, we want to celebrate Katie's recovery and awesomeness for spreading awareness to check your boobs! We would like to give back in her honour by supporting Macmillan and the people that helped her along the way, and helping others who are still in the fight.

Every £103 we spend on our Macmillan Support Line could lead to our Welfare Rights Team helping people affected by cancer find out about £3,000 in benefits they could be entitled to.

£189 could help run our Online Community forum for 7 hours. In this time, 392 people affected by cancer in the UK can read and share experiences and support each other on anything to do with cancer.
