My Story
Samantha & Rhonda are hosting a Coffee/ Soup Lunch/ Cakes in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support in Drimnin Village Hall on the 26th September between 11am - 2pm. We are sure that you all know someone who has been affected by cancer. Macmillan is 98% funded by voluntary donations and with your help they can deliver the vital support people living with cancer need – whoever and wherever they are. There are currently more than 3.5 million people living with cancer in the UK and this number is rising, with someone diagnosed every 75 seconds. But Macmillan is doing whatever it to takes to ensure that everyone gets the best care available. They work with partners to provide services for people living with cancer at every stage of their cancer experience, including the Macmillan Support Line, award-winning cancer booklets, their Online Community, and Macmillan professionals.
