My Story
Baltic Creative is hosting a Coffee Morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. Macmillan is 98% funded by voluntary donations and with your help they can deliver the vital support people living with cancer need, whoever and wherever they are.
This September our informal tenant meet up 'Baltic Brew' will double as a fundraising event. We invite you to bring along baked goods we can offer in return for a charity donation, or just come and gather and enjoy a cuppa as usual.
Why are we fundraising?
There are currently more than 3.5 million people living with cancer in the UK and this number is rising, with someone diagnosed every 75 seconds. But Macmillan is doing whatever it to takes to ensure that everyone gets the best care available.They work with partners to provide services for people living with cancer at every stage of their cancer experience, including the Macmillan Support Line, award-winning cancer booklets, their Online Community, and Macmillan professionals.
