My Story
I am hosting a Yoga and Coffee Afternoon in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
For those of you who don’t know my story, my husband Dave passed away from pancreatic cancer in 2024. Macmillan provided him with support and advice throughout his cancer journey. I would like to help give back to them in any little way I can.
Macmillan is 98% funded by voluntary donations and with your help they can deliver the vital support people living with cancer need; whoever and wherever they are. There are currently more than 3.5 million people living with cancer in the UK and this number is rising, with someone diagnosed every 75 seconds. But Macmillan is doing whatever it to takes to ensure that everyone gets the best care available.They work with partners to provide services for people living with cancer at every stage of their cancer experience, including the Macmillan Support Line, award-winning cancer booklets, their Online Community, and Macmillan professionals.
